Mechanical Engineer

About the Role We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop custom machinery for customers worldwide. You will research, plan, and design mechanical, electromechanical, hydraulic, and liquid processing systems using advanced 3D software, notably SolidWorks, and validate designs with FEA/CFD tools. This role collaborates with manufacturing and operations to ensure safe, compliant, and manufacturable equipment. What You'll Do

• Research, plan, and design mechanical, electromechanical, hydraulic, and liquid processing systems using SolidWorks.
• Create detailed assembly models, approval prints, and pneumatic/hydraulic schematics.
• Analyze equipment specifications and performance requirements to develop cost-effective, manufacturable designs.
• Assess feasibility of new equipment designs or modifications, considering space, cost, and time.
• Utilize Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) tools (e.g., SolidWorks Simulation) to validate designs.
• Evaluate field installations, making design modifications to improve performance and integration.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, safety standards, and regulations (e.g., ANSI, OSHA).
• Collaborate with manufacturing and operations teams to evaluate fit, form, and function of equipment relative to adjacent systems and components. What We're Looking For
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME or equivalent); Associate's degree or 3+ years of relevant experience considered.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar 3D modeling software; proven mechanical aptitude.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, building materials, and mechanical systems.
• Experience with FEA and CFD tools to test and refine designs.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills. Compensation & Benefits
• Salary: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year. The company offers a quarterly Bonus Incentive Program.
