Mechanical Engineer (Gas equipment)

About the Role Initiates the design, development, execution and implementation of technology research projects in gas equipment. Investigates the feasibility of applying scientific principles to potential inventions and products, and plans and executes applied research. Maintains substantial knowledge of state-of-the-art principles and theories, and may contribute to scientific literature and conferences.

What You'll Do

• Initiate the design, development, execution and implementation of technology research projects.

• Maintain knowledge of state-of-the-art principles and theories, and may contribute to scientific literature and conferences.
• May participate in development of patent applications. May coordinate interdepartmental activities and research efforts.
• Apply general concepts and principles to resolve a variety of issues.
• Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situation or data requires consideration of a variety of factors.
• Normally receive general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
• Typically requires a degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
