In this dynamic role, you will engage in the design of steel structures and installation solutions, producing manufacturing data in NX along with essential technical documentation. You will have the chance to participate in R&D projects, tackling a variety of assignments that will deepen your understanding of installation topics. As you interact with both internal and external interfaces, you will expand your professional network and pave the way for future opportunities, potentially stepping into a coordinating role for mechanical installation resources in our development projects.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Design innovative steel structures and installation solutions while producing manufacturing data in NX and associated technical documentation.
• Participate in the development and maintenance of product standards, ensuring technical solutions are cost-effective and of high quality.
• Collaborate with procurement and sub-suppliers to develop robust technical solutions, addressing generic issues and conducting root cause analyses.
• Engage with other package systems and contribute to the overall design philosophy of our gas turbine packages.
• Work closely with the project team to ensure design work aligns with the current schedule, creating, reviewing, and updating documentation within your technical area.

What You Bring

• MSc or BSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent knowledge/experience.
• Strong understanding of applicable norms and standards in process and mechanical engineering, particularly PED and ASME.
• Proficient in English, with Swedish language skills considered a plus.
• A passion for technology and a desire to learn in a multicultural environment.
• Excellent teamwork skills, with a structured, driven approach to prioritizing and organizing your work effectively.
• A proactive mindset focused on finding solutions and taking ownership of your tasks.

About the Team The Structure & Layout team consists of 19 skilled engineers specializing in structural engineering and layout design for complex energy projects. Organized into two collaborative teams, we foster a close-knit and supportive work environment where teamwork, knowledge sharing, and mutual support are key to our success. We place a strong emphasis on personal and professional development, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to grow. This commitment to quality and continuous improvement creates a culture where individuals thrive while delivering high-quality solutions.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
