About the Role Engineer responsible for designing, improving, validating and releasing mechanical tooling for production processes, as well as machinery design, upgrades, integration and implementation. May lead plant-level projects such as cobots or machine/process automation. What You'll Do
- Define and update plant procedures to review and release tooling and fixtures.
- Define the application of design requirements for tooling based on DMD directions.
- Administer the mechanical drawing database and provide technical support to its users.
- Perform machinery automation, upgrades, integration and process improvements; maintain drawings (updates and storage).
- Collaborate on plant-level projects (e.g., cobots, machine/process automation). What We're Looking For
- Professional degree with minimum 5 years of experience in Mechanical Design and/or Machining Shop activities.
- Proficient in SolidWorks; using GD&T and DFM.
- Knowledge of machining materials and treatments; willingness to travel and support after hours if needed.
- Customer oriented, analytic thinker, structured, able to work in a team, proactive.
- High sense of responsibility and urgency. Nice to Have
- Experience with cobots and production automation projects.
- Familiarity with design-for-manufacturing principles and mechanical drawing management. Compensation & Benefits
