Mechanical Design Engineer
This position encompasses all areas of mechanical design engineering - including structural design, component design, mechanisms, and tooling. This position works with the Program Manager and Engineering departments to complete designs. Develop designs from direction supplied by Novi program management and external Lear engineers
Responsibilities
- The following duties are typical for this classification. However, any one position may not include all the duties listed, nor do the examples cover all the duties which may be performed.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Controls Engineers, the manufacturing team, and customers to develop systems and develop systems and complete projects.
- Provides machine, mechanism, and tooling design along with drawing creation while under minimal technical supervision.
