About the Role AGCO is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop robust 3D CAD designs for agricultural equipment and translate requirements into manufacturable drawings. This role collaborates across design engineering, validation, manufacturing, quality, and marketing to ensure designs meet performance and durability standards and are delivered on schedule. What You'll Do
- Develop robust 3D CAD designs that meet product requirements.
- Communicate design concepts across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Solve engineering problems and document design decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance performance, cost, risk, and timelines.
- Create and release accurate 2D drawings for manufacturing and procurement. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering from an accredited university.
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical design (preferably with agricultural equipment); experience in agricultural equipment design is a plus but not mandatory.
- Proficiency with Creo Parametric for 3D CAD design.
- Knowledge of PLM systems and AGCO-specific engineering tools (on-the-job training provided).
- Strong command of English (spoken, written, reading).
- Excellent communication, adaptability, problem-solving, teamwork, and attention to detail.
- Entry-level-friendly environment for recent graduates or early-career professionals. Nice to Have
- Prior experience in agricultural equipment design is a plus. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $65,000-$80,000 per year.
- Eligible for a bonus based on 8% of compensation.
