About the Role You’ll support Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects as a Mechanical Construction Manager focused on data center environments, leading mechanical scopes, contracts, and delivery to ensure safe, compliant, and performance-driven outcomes. The role is onsite with client sites, requiring collaboration with Owners, Engineers, Architects, and trade partners to deliver critical MEP systems. What You'll Do
- Prepare mechanical scopes of work, RFPs, budgets, and manage payment applications for HVAC, piping, plumbing, and other MEP systems.
- Administer mechanical construction contracts from procurement through installation, commissioning, and project closeout.
- Oversee scheduling, sequencing, permitting, startup, and turnover activities for critical mechanical systems within data center environments.
- Manage mechanical subcontractors and enforce health and safety standards across all mechanical construction activities onsite.
- Review mechanical installation progress for quality and compliance with design drawings, specifications, and commissioning requirements.
- Lead and document coordination meetings with Owners, Engineers, Architects, General Contractors, and trade partners.
- Report to senior leadership on mechanical construction performance, including cost, schedule, risk, quality, and commissioning readiness.
- Onsite at client site; maintain client relationships; some in-person collaboration to support delivery and collaboration. What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Mechanical Construction Management.
- Bonus Points: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience managing HVAC, piping, plumbing, and other MEP systems on large-scale construction projects; hyperscale or mission-critical data center experience highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical construction means and methods, MEP systems, commissioning processes, and construction management best practices.
- Demonstrated experience negotiating contracts, change orders, subcontractor agreements, and project-related commercial matters.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate with Owners, Engineers, Contractors, and cross-functional project teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to manage schedules, budgets, and project reporting.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced data center construction environments.

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred.
- Hyperscale or mission-critical data center experience.
- Data center experience is highly desirable.
- Experience negotiating contracts and managing commercial aspects of projects. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $150,000 - $170,000 per year (USD).
