Job title: Mechanical Assembler / Technician
About the Role The role involves assembling, testing, maintaining, and calibrating automated and electromechanical equipment, including robotics. You will interpret assembly drawings and parts lists to build and modify systems, and perform functional testing to ensure performance.
What You'll Do
- Assemble fabricated and purchased parts using assembly drawings and parts lists
- Mechanical assembly requiring fitting, alignment and close tolerances
- Perform mechanical alterations
- Use hand and power tools for assembly
- Use of test equipment to perform functional testing
- Read and interpret assembly drawings and parts lists
What We're Looking For
- Experience assembling mechanical components and using assembly drawings and parts lists
- Mechanical assembly requiring fitting, alignment and close tolerances
- Ability to perform mechanical alterations
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Experience using test equipment for functional testing
- Familiarity with reading assembly drawings and parts lists
- May involve complex electrical wiring and/or mechanical assembly of robotics equipment/machines
