Job title: Mechanical Assembler
About the Role The Mechanical Assembler will perform mechanical and electrical assembly of components for Provisur/Formax high-speed, high-volume food processing machines and peripheral equipment. This role requires reading assembly prints and hydraulic/pneumatic schematics to build, test, and inspect equipment.
What You'll Do
- Assemble Provisur/Formax machines and peripheral equipment from assembly prints, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, and illustrations
- Test and troubleshoot completed units to ensure proper functioning and adherence to specifications and quality
- Document completion on checklists and perform final inspections on assembled equipment
- Submit equipment improvements and corrections to Engineering

- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years mechanical and assembly experience
- Ability to read & understand electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Familiarity with torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers and Loctite
- Machine shop experience and schematic experience a plus
Nice to Have
- Experience with machine shop work or schematic interpretation is a plus
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $27-$30 per hour
