Location: Leconfield, East Riding of Yorkshire

Pay: £19.00/hr Base Rate (Paid Weekly) + Overtime Available

Contract: 6-Month Contract (High Potential for Extension)

IR35 Status: Outside IR35

Shift: Mon–Thu 07:30–16:30 | Fri 07:30–13:00 (Early Friday Finish!)

About the Role

Join E-ppl Ltd as a Mechanic on a critical fleet maintenance project in Leconfield, working alongside a skilled, supportive team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the operational readiness, safety, and regulatory compliance of Stored and Sustainment Fleet platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical inspections, routine servicing, and repairs across designated fleet platforms.

• Complete rectification work ahead of Mandatory Equipment Inspections.

• Execute fleet upgrades, reworks, and resolve defects identified during quality examinations.

• Maintain strict adherence to site Health & Safety guidelines.

• Location & Commute

• Situated conveniently in Leconfield with direct access via the A164 and A1079.

• Local Commuters: Easily accessible from Beverley, Hull, York, Driffield, Bridlington, and across the East Riding of Yorkshire.

Requirements

• Qualifications: Valid proof of NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds (or equivalent) Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Experience: Proven background as a Mechanic (Fleet, Commercial, or Ex-Forces/Military vehicle background strongly preferred).
• Clearance: Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance (fully sponsored, managed, and paid for by E-ppl).
