About the Role The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine's Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Rheumatology, Immunology, and Allergy seeks an MD academic clinician educator to provide leadership in clinical Rheumatology and medical education, with opportunities for collaboration across divisions and departments. The role emphasizes patient care, teaching, and potential research. What You'll Do
- Precept fellows, residents and/or medical students in ambulatory and inpatient settings.
- Provide lectures or lead small group discussions as part of the COM or fellowship curriculum.
- Diagnose and treat disorders of the musculoskeletal system that are frequently the result of immune system dysfunction.
- Diagnose and manage a variety of rheumatologic and autoimmune disorders.
- Manage outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital services and consultations, with teaching and training responsibilities at multiple levels.
- Take on additional duties as assigned. What We're Looking For
- Medical Degree (MD).
- Completion of 4-year Internal Medicine residency/training.
- Completion of 2-year Rheumatology fellowship/training.
- Ohio Medical License.
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Rheumatology. Nice to Have
