About the Role Mattel is seeking a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser (RPT) to strengthen in-store execution at major retailers in South Jordan, UT. The role focuses on building relationships with store teams, securing prime product placements, and delivering engaging brand experiences while supporting Mattel’s portfolio.

What You'll Do

• Build strong relationships with store teams and act as a brand ambassador for Mattel/FP Brands.
• Secure prime product placements, unpack cases, merchandise and organize products on the sales floor.
• Construct and deconstruct store fixtures including shelving and racking; implement Point of Purchase materials.
• Execute special projects including store events; complete reports and store surveys.
• Train and lead team associates; provide real-time business insights.
• Perform administrative tasks including managing expenses, attending meetings, trainings, checking email, etc.
• Travel between assigned store locations within the territory; maintain reliable transportation.

What We're Looking For

• Must be at least 18 years old; high school diploma or GED; some college preferred.
• Available to work daytime hours during the week; occasional weekends.
• Access to reliable internet; reliable transportation to travel between stores.
• Reside within approximately 20 miles of South Jordan, UT 84095 or able to reliably service the assigned territory.
• Physical requirements: stand, bend, twist, squat, kneel, reach; walk for long periods; climb ladders up to 12’; lift up to 25 pounds frequently, 50 pounds occasionally; push/pull carts containing product up to 100 lbs; operate power tools (screwdriver & drill).
• Merchandising experience (preferred, but not required); strong attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to prioritize and manage time.
• Tech-savvy (Microsoft Office, iPads and apps); ready to learn and adapt with a safety-first mindset.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills; ability to build relationships and represent the brand professionally.

Nice to Have

• Merchandising experience (preferred, but not required).

Compensation & Benefits

• The base hourly rate for this position is between $19.00 and $22.00 per hour.
