Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Matron to strengthen our Nursing & Midwifery team. The successful candidate will deliver excellent care, support colleagues, and contribute to continuous improvement at Enugu International Hospital. You will work within a multidisciplinary team serving patients across South-East Nigeria, with access to modern facilities and a clear pathway for professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality clinical care within the Nursing & Midwifery service.
• Participate in multidisciplinary ward rounds and case conferences.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to teaching programmes.
• Uphold clinical governance, documentation, and patient safety standards.
• Support quality improvement and audit initiatives.
• Collaborate with allied specialties to ensure seamless patient pathways.

Qualifications and Experience

• RN / RM with NMCN registration and substantial senior nursing-management experience.
• 8+ years of experience.
• Current registration with the applicable Nigerian regulatory body, where required.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset.
