Position Overview

• We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Mathematics Teacher to foster mathematical literacy, logical reasoning, and critical problem-solving skills.
• The ideal candidate will inspire confidence in students across various math levels—ranging from foundational algebra and geometry to advanced calculus and statistics—making complex concepts clear and approachable.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, structured lessons in core mathematical disciplines (Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, and Statistics).

• Teach step-by-step problem-solving techniques and encourage logical, analytical thinking.

• Assess student performance through homework, problem sets, diagnostic tests, and cumulative examinations.

• Differentiate math instruction to support students who require extra help while challenging advanced learners.

• Integrate educational technology, such as dynamic graphing tools and interactive displays, into daily lessons.

• Maintain an orderly, encouraging classroom environment where students feel comfortable taking academic risks.

• Track academic progress and communicate regularly with parents, department heads, and school counselors.

• Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a closely related quantitative field (Master’s Degree preferred).

• Licensure: Valid state or national teaching credential for secondary mathematics.

• Experience: 2+ years of experience teaching middle school or high school mathematics preferred.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency with graphing calculators, mathematical visualization software (e.g., Desmos, GeoGebra), and learning management systems.

• Soft Skills: High patience, exceptional step-by-step explanatory skills, strong classroom management, and an encouraging demeanor.

Salary

N100,000 – N150,000 Monthly.
