A private family based in Abu Dhabi requires a UK & European-trained Maternity Nurse on a permanent basis. The family looks for a maternity nurse whose newborn and maternal assessment is rigorous, delivered inside the family's own home. As the family moves between Abu Dhabi, London and the Mediterranean, care follows them without a change of clinician. Verification of the maternity nurse's qualifications is ours; you then contract directly with the family, who employ you.

Requirements

• A verified record of a nursing qualification and current registration is the first requirement, confirmed with the registering body. 2+ years of nursing practice is the minimum, where decisions had to be made independently. We shortlist the maternity nurse exclusively from UK and European training systems, with each qualification assessed document by document. A signed NDA is a condition of this appointment, and you must be able to write clear newborn and maternal assessment notes in English. You will need to be at ease with frequent travel, and we ask about this at the first assessment.

Benefits

• The package is gross, from €5,000 a month. The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances. Relocation to Abu Dhabi is arranged by the family, and you live within the family's residence: the role is live-in and single-status.
