About this role
A private family in Abu Dhabi has opened a search for a UK & European-trained maternity nurse to take up the private household nursing lead appointment. The appointment needs attentive, gentle nursing backed by a clear head in every situation. When plans take the family abroad from Abu Dhabi, you travel alongside them, which is how trust is kept over the years. The family is your employer and no one else, after we have introduced and verified you.
Requirements
- Candidates need a recognised nursing degree and current registration in the UK or Europe, in good standing. A minimum of 5 years of hands-on nursing practice so that you manage a routine confidently. The family sees only clinicians whose training and licensing sit in UK or European systems, and that standard does not move. Confident spoken and written English and a signed confidentiality agreement are prerequisites for the role. Composure, good judgement and ease around a private household are essential. You must be willing to join European and international trips with a valid passport.
Benefits
- The gross salary for this post starts from €5,000 a month. The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances. The family provides a place to live within its residence in Abu Dhabi, and flights. Annual leave on full pay, travel home each year and lasting continuity are part of the family's offer. The family is your employer directly, once our verification of your registration is complete. Engagement essentials Availability to begin within six weeks of offer. Live-in and single-status: the role suits clinicians who relocate alone, with full flexibility to travel worldwide with the family at short notice. Nurses are always placed in pairs — two nurses alternating shifts — to protect continuity of care. Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family's own office and advisers.
