About this role
A private family based in Jeddah is searching for a maternity nurse, UK & European-trained, to lead maternity care, and confidentiality is assumed. This role calls for sound judgement exercised without supervision, particularly during private family nursing duties. Time abroad forms part of the appointment, including Lake Como, where you keep maternity care seamless. We verify each maternity nurse's registration, references and training before any introduction, and the family decides everything after that.
Requirements
- The post requires a registered maternity nurse with UK or European credentials, able to hold independent judgement. 3 years or more of qualified clinical experience are expected. Eligibility rests on UK or European training and a current registration, as the foundation for sole charge. Excellent spoken and written English is expected, since you will often act without anyone to consult. We verify each maternity nurse's registration, references and training before any introduction, and no name is shared before that work is done.
Benefits
- The package is gross, from €5,000 a month. The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances. Accommodation within the residence is provided and relocation is arranged by the family, with nothing to arrange on your own. You receive generous leave and regular flights home, both provided by the family, with cover planned around your sole charge duties. You sign with the family itself, never with us, as it should be for a post of this kind. Engagement essentials Availability to begin within six weeks of offer. Live-in and single-status: the role suits clinicians who relocate alone, with full flexibility to travel worldwide with the family at short notice. Nurses are always placed in pairs — two nurses alternating shifts — to protect continuity of care. Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family's own office and advisers.
