About this role
We are seeking a UK & European-trained maternity nurse to join a private family in Doha, to fill the private family nursing role. Warmth, composure and professionalism define the person the family wants, in everything from newborn care and the mother's postnatal recovery to the smallest daily detail. Moving between Doha and the family's European addresses is routine, with newborn care and the mother's postnatal recovery remaining your responsibility throughout. The family appoints you, and you sign with them directly, while Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies each clinician.
Requirements
- This post is for a maternity nurse trained and registered in the UK or Europe, with a clean regulatory history and newborn care and the mother's postnatal recovery. A career of 2+ years since qualifying is required, partly spent caring for a single client or family. This Doha post is limited to clinicians trained and registered in the UK or Europe. The family's working language is English, and yours must be fluent, plus a signed non-disclosure agreement before deployment. Your professional history is verified by us before the introduction takes place, and we tell you plainly what we find.
Benefits
- The family offers a gross salary from €5,000 a month. The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances. Living arrangements within the family's residence in Doha are provided by the family. Annual leave is guaranteed in your contract with the family, plus flights home each year. Remuneration, leave and duties are put in writing by the family, and Medical Staff Talent takes no role in the employment. Engagement essentials Availability to begin within six weeks of offer. Live-in and single-status: the role suits clinicians who relocate alone, with full flexibility to travel worldwide with the family at short notice. Nurses are always placed in pairs — two nurses alternating shifts — to protect continuity of care. Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family's own office and advisers.
