About this role
A private family in Jeddah has opened a permanent maternity nurse post. Quiet authority and discretion matter more here than any title, day in and day out. When the family moves to Paris for the season, you move with them, and postnatal care carries on. Verification comes first: licence, qualification and referees are all confirmed by us, ahead of any conversation with the family in Jeddah. Your employer is the family, and the contract is between the two of you, including the scope of your judgement and authority.
Requirements
- Applicants must be registered maternity nurses from the UK or European systems. A record of 2 or more years in practice is needed, ideally in private or family settings. The family has asked for UK & European-trained maternity nurses exclusively, because a maternity nurse in sole charge needs a system the family trusts. English must be fluent enough for clinical handovers and family conversations, alongside a binding NDA from day one. We introduce only those maternity nurses whose credentials we have checked ourselves, every time.
Benefits
- Salary is gross, from €5,000 a month. The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances. The family provides your accommodation within its residence in Jeddah, an arrangement that supports your own judgement. Rest is protected: leave and flights home are part of the offer, which keeps a long-term maternity nurse post sustainable. Your employer is the family, and the contract is between the two of you, as it should be for a post of this kind. Engagement essentials Availability to begin within six weeks of offer. Live-in and single-status: the role suits clinicians who relocate alone, with full flexibility to travel worldwide with the family at short notice. Nurses are always placed in pairs — two nurses alternating shifts — to protect continuity of care. Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family's own office and advisers.
