About this role
A family in Doha is appointing a UK & European-trained Maternity Nurse to a live-in post. You will lead newborn care while helping the whole household keep its routines calm and intact. The first summer is spent between London and Cannes, and you will travel with the family for those months. Feeding, sleep and postnatal support are central to the role.
Requirements
- Your nursing or midwifery registration comes from the UK or Europe. The family asks for a minimum of 2 years' nursing practice, preferably with time in private households. Newborn feeding, settling and early health checks should be second nature. You communicate warmly in fluent English and respect confidentiality. Paediatric first aid certification must be current.
Benefits
- The package is gross, from €5,000 a month. The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances. Your own room within the family's residence, meals and summer travel are provided by the family. Days off are protected and agreed with the family each week. You are employed directly by the family on a contract you sign with them. Engagement essentials Availability to begin within six weeks of offer. Live-in and single-status: the role suits clinicians who relocate alone, with full flexibility to travel worldwide with the family at short notice. Nurses are always placed in pairs — two nurses alternating shifts — to protect continuity of care. Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family's own office and advisers.
