About this role
A private family in Doha is seeking a UK & European-trained maternity nurse for a long-term post framed as long-term nursing appointment. The role calls for a nurse of quiet competence and an unfailing sense of routine. At the start of every European season, the maternity nurse goes with them, so the family never has to start again with a stranger. Employment is agreed with the family and no one else, and we remain available for questions about the process.
Requirements
- Candidates need full nursing licensure within a UK or European system. At least 2 years of hands-on nursing practice following full registration. We confirm your UK or European training and registration before your maternity nurse profile reaches the family, confirmed against the register by our team. Fluent English together with written NDA acceptance are prerequisites for the role. Quiet professionalism, a steady manner and the ability to blend into daily routine are vital. We look for someone who is able to travel internationally as part of the role.
Benefits
- Salary is gross, from €5,000 a month. The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances. Provided by the family: a place to live within the family's residence in Doha, and journeys. Paid leave, home flights and lasting continuity are part of the family's offer. The employment relationship is with the family directly, with our role limited to a careful introduction. Engagement essentials Availability to begin within six weeks of offer. Live-in and single-status: the role suits clinicians who relocate alone, with full flexibility to travel worldwide with the family at short notice. Nurses are always placed in pairs — two nurses alternating shifts — to protect continuity of care. Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family's own office and advisers.
