About this role
A private family in Dubai has opened a permanent maternity nurse post, and confidentiality is assumed. The maternity nurse travels with the family: when they leave Dubai for Monaco, night and day infant care continues without a break, and you decide how it is delivered. We verify each maternity nurse's registration, references and training before any introduction, so that your own judgement is trusted for good reason. The family contracts with you directly; we are not a party to the agreement, a clean arrangement for a maternity nurse in Dubai.
Requirements
- You are a fully qualified maternity nurse with current registration in the UK or Europe, able to hold independent judgement. We look for 3 years of post-registration practice at minimum, some of it in maternity care. The family has asked for UK & European-trained maternity nurses exclusively, as the foundation for autonomous decision-making. Clear English is required at every level of the role, since you will often act without anyone to consult, in keeping with a private household. - The family offers a gross salary from €5,000 a month. The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances. Accommodation within the residence is arranged and paid for by the family, an arrangement that supports unsupervised responsibility. Paid annual leave is built into the contract, because a maternity nurse in sole charge needs real time away.
