About this role
A private family in Abu Dhabi is appointing a permanent Maternity Nurse, UK or European-trained, within the residence. The role suits a nurse who values continuity of care and long-term family relationships. If the family spends a season in Switzerland, the maternity nurse remains the family's single point of clinical contact. We assess and verify the maternity nurse's registration and references before any introduction; the family, as employer, agrees terms with you directly.
Requirements
- We require a nursing qualification and current registration, issued within the UK or Europe. Bring 5 years of nursing experience, assessed through references and a structured interview. Our standard for the maternity nurse is a UK or European qualification, and we test it against the original certificates. The maternity nurse must communicate in precise, professional English, and the NDA applies before, during and after the appointment. International travel alongside the family is a standing expectation, and your newborn and maternal assessment routine must adapt without lowering standards.
Benefits
- The family offers a gross salary from €5,000 a month. The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances. In Abu Dhabi you live within the family's residence: the role is live-in and single-status. Annual leave and flights home are provided by the family, so you can plan your life beyond Abu Dhabi. Your contract is signed with the family itself, with every term agreed in writing. Engagement essentials Availability to begin within six weeks of offer. Live-in and single-status: the role suits clinicians who relocate alone, with full flexibility to travel worldwide with the family at short notice. Nurses are always placed in pairs — two nurses alternating shifts — to protect continuity of care. Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family's own office and advisers.
