About this role
In Abu Dhabi, a private family wishes to appoint a UK & European-trained Maternity Nurse on a permanent basis. The maternity nurse will be assessed on judgement as well as technique, and discretion within the household is assumed. During the family's stays at their European residences, you go with them, and your newborn and maternal assessment standards travel unchanged. We introduce only clinicians whose standards we have checked in detail; the family is the employer and signs with you directly.
Requirements
- The maternity nurse must be able to evidence a nursing qualification and current registration, from a UK or European authority. A track record of 3+ years in nursing practice is expected, ideally in private or family settings. A UK or European training pathway is the starting point for the maternity nurse appointment; we apply that standard without exception. Confidentiality is absolute in this post, and every placement is covered by a confidentiality agreement. A current passport and a flexible diary are essential, wherever the family's plans lead.
Benefits
- The gross salary for this post starts from €5,000 a month. The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances. The maternity nurse lives within the family's residence: the role is live-in and single-status. You receive generous paid leave, and the family plans its calendar to allow proper rest. Employment terms for the maternity nurse are written directly between you and the family. Engagement essentials Availability to begin within six weeks of offer. Nurses are always placed in pairs — two nurses alternating shifts — to protect continuity of care. Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family's own office and advisers.
