About the Role The Materials/Planning Specialist will develop, implement, and maintain production schedules, manage material and finished goods inventory, and analyze data to drive improvements. This role coordinates with manufacturing, quality, procurement, and logistics to ensure timely, cost-efficient production in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, implement, and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and resource availability; adjust plans as priorities shift or delays occur.
  • Monitor and manage raw materials and finished goods inventory to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Analyze production data, performance metrics, and historical trends to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality assurance, procurement, and logistics to ensure clear communication and seamless execution of production plans.
  • Address production issues as they arise, implementing corrective actions to minimize disruptions.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, inventory status, and capacity utilization.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, applying lean principles to optimize production processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Outstanding communication skills (verbal, interpersonal, written).
  • Ability to gather relevant information systematically, seek input from others, use accurate logic in problem analysis, and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to see the big picture and plan strategically to take the organization to the next level.

Nice to Have

  • 5+ years related experience in Wafer Planning, Semiconductor Industry; Manufacturing/Production Control environment; strong understanding of the supply chain.
  • Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, or inventory management.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, advanced planning systems, PowerBI, Final Phase System, Fabtime, databases, Python.
