About the Role The Materials Handling Specialist will support ASM's Phoenix site by coordinating material flow, receiving, storing, and issuing components to manufacturing teams while maintaining accurate inventory and adhering to safety and quality standards. This role ensures smooth production operations in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate and process inbound and outbound material for production lines
- Validate and update inventory records in ERP/WMS
- Receive, inspect, and stock materials; issue materials to production as needed
- Maintain organized, safe storage areas in line with 5S principles
- Collaborate with procurement, production planning, and logistics to minimize downtime
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience in materials handling, warehousing, or inventory control
- Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems and accurate data entry
- Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
