About the Role The Materials Handler supports the Materials department by handling raw materials and finished products for the plant, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, and distribution to meet production needs.
What You'll Do
- Read and interpret shipping and receiving operating instructions.
- Unload trucks and verify invoices for received parts and products.
- Load outbound trucks and ensure all shipping documentation is correct and in place.
- Respond to manufacturing requirements and identify parts and products for accurate sorting.
- Maintain compliance with 6S standards.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Receive and identify parts and products per operating instructions; electronically enter data and generate barcode labels to identify parts.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to read and interpret shipping/receiving instructions.
- Experience unloading/loading trucks and handling related paperwork.
- Valid driver's license.
- Knowledge of 6S principles.
- Ability to accurately identify and sort parts and products.
- Proficiency with data entry and barcode labeling.
- Familiarity with operating instructions.
