As a Materials and Shop Support Technician , you will be responsible for receiving, unpacking, and managing incoming materials, as well as supporting production by ensuring raw materials and finished components are available when needed. You will maintain accurate inventory records in line with company procedures and safety standards.
Your role will be critical in maintaining efficient material flow, supporting production teams, and ensuring inventory accuracy to help deliver high-quality products to our customers on time.
As a Materials and Shop Support Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Receiving and unpacking purchased goods, verifying contents, condition, and quantities against packing slips.
- Performing incoming receipt transactions, printing receiving reports, and maintaining daily logs.
- Marking raw materials with QA traceability numbers.
- Identifying production requirements and ensuring availability of parts and materials when needed.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records, including materials received, used, defective items, and outside materials.
- Preparing and issuing production orders with raw materials, components, and finished goods.
- Participating in annual physical inventories and daily cycle counts.
- Supporting material flow within inventory systems.
