Job title: Material Review Technician
About the Role The Material Review Technician is the owner of the MR0 location. All rejected castings, whether from in-process inspection, final inspection, or outsider customers (customer returns) go through the material review area. The technician is responsible for dispositioning all rejects back into process or scrapped out.
What You'll Do
- Disposition rejections by creating rework travelers in Visibility.
- Be an active member of the daily scrap meeting to disposition issues.
- Know, uphold, and abide by plant Safety rules and EH&S regulations.
What We're Looking For
- Experience with material review processes and dispositioning rejects.
- Knowledge of plant safety rules and EH&S requirements.
- Ability to collaborate in daily scrap meetings and coordinate rework/disposition.
