Job title: Material Review Technician
About the Role The Material Review Technician serves as the owner of the MR0 location, responsible for dispositioning all rejects from in-process inspection, final inspection, or customer returns, and determining whether they reenter production or are scrapped. This role ensures safety and EH&S compliance while coordinating with scrap processes.
What You'll Do
- Own the MR0 location and oversee the material review process for all rejected castings
- Disposition rejections by creating rework travelers in Visibility
- Participate as an active member of the daily scrap meeting to disposition rejected material
- Uphold plant safety rules and EH&S regulations and ensure compliance
What We're Looking For
- Knowledge of material review processes and ability to disposition rejects
- Familiarity with creating rework travelers in Visibility
- Experience participating in daily scrap meetings and coordinating disposition of rejected material
- Commitment to plant safety and EH&S rules
