The Materials
Requirements

Planner is responsible for co-ordination and execution of all activities related to the planning and procurement of raw materials and components. Converting the output of the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and the Detailed Schedule (DS) into material requirements to ensure availability of the right quantity of components to the production lines when needed!

Communicating the plan to the different suppliers within the agreed lead times. Be an integral part of a team which optimizes the flow of materials, while considering plants warehouse capacity and inventory targets to eliminate potential disruptions in the storage, storage costs and avoiding material scrap (SLOB) both at site level which rolls up to API Large Molecule Platform Level.
You will be responsible for:
- Create, maintain and publish Materials Requirement Plans (MRP) to ensure production and customer needs are met on time.
- Manage inventory to minimize excess, obsolete and expired items while meeting service goals.
- Communicate material delivery schedules to suppliers promptly to support production plans.
- Partner with Global Procurement to improve supplier quality and on‑time delivery.
- Track and report supplier service performance and work with stakeholders to resolve issues, including coordination for returns or disposals of rejected materials.
- Support Phase‑In and Phase‑Out of materials and drive continuous improvement in planning processes and practices.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Master’s degree in supply chain management or a related business field (required).
- Up to 2 years’ relevant experience in planning, purchasing, logistics or manufacturing in a multinational environment; pharmaceutical/biopharma experience preferred.
- Practical experience with SAP or similar planning/inventory systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with Lean or continuous‑improvement approaches and a focus on efficient, reliable processes.
- Clear communicator who collaborates across functions and ensures customer requirements are planned and shared.
- Results‑oriented, organized, and eager to grow into future leadership roles within Johnson & Johnson.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:
- €44,700.00 - €70,840.00
