About the Role Material Helper position at the Baytown II, TX jobsite within Optimized Process Designs (OPD), part of Koch Engineered Solutions. This role supports on-site material management for natural gas, NGLs, and petrochemical projects by tracking materials, checking for damages, and coordinating transfers to meet production schedules. What You'll Do
- Examine material delivered to jobsite for damages
- Maintain status and location of materials
- Arrange on-site transfer of materials to meet production schedules
- Monitor and control movement of material upon arrival to the site
- Participate in onsite safety meetings and follow safety policies
- Be on time, display a positive attitude, and work effectively in a team
- Maintain high attention to detail to avoid reworks and errors
- Capable of working in outdoor weather and environmental conditions including extreme heat and humidity, extreme cold, and high elevations
- Lifting and carrying awkward objects up to 60 lbs
- Standing for extended periods of time up to 11 hours per day
- Moving the entire body including arms, legs, climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, crawling, twisting, reaching, and bending
- Use hands to handle, control, and feel objects and/or tools What We're Looking For
- Able and willing to work in a fast paced, demanding environment with critical deadlines
- Highly motivated with excellent problem-solving skills
- Must be willing and able to meet all physical demands of the job
- Must be able and willing to attend mandatory safety meetings
- Willingness and ability to work in a team environment with a customer focus
- Must be willing and able to travel and work up to 12 hours a day, 7 days a week when required Nice to Have
- Past experience working as a materials helper
