About the Role
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will lead daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, storage, and distribution activities. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely dispatch of materials, equipment, and other inventory while maintaining operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and a safe working environment.
What You'll Do

Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by implementing and enforcing operational, personnel, and safety procedures.

Partner with business leaders, department managers, and internal and external stakeholders to forecast workload demand, coordinate deliverables, and resolve priority conflicts.

Plan, coordinate, and oversee inbound and outbound receiving schedules and daily warehouse activities.

Supervise warehouse staff to ensure service levels, productivity goals, and operational requirements are met.

Determine appropriate storage methods, inventory identification, and stock locations based on turnover rates and facility capabilities.

Control inventory levels through cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation with inventory management systems.

Establish and monitor warehouse security procedures and protocols to safeguard inventory and operations.

Maintain warehouse facilities by planning layouts, inspecting equipment, coordinating repairs, and managing replacement requests.

Maintain records related to inventory usage, stock movement, and equipment damage when required.

Lead, coach, and develop team members to support performance and professional growth.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Provide formal supervision to employees within a single functional or operational area.

Support recruitment, selection, promotion, performance management, corrective actions, and termination recommendations.

Plan staffing levels and labor utilization, including overtime requirements.

Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities.

Lead by example and demonstrate behaviors aligned with CBRE values and culture.

What You'll Need

Education & Experience
-
High School Diploma or GED required.
-
Bachelor's degree preferred.
-
Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse, shipping, and receiving operations.

Previous supervisory experience in a warehouse, shipping, or receiving environment required.

Certifications
-
Certified Forklift Operator License required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to provide timely, reliable, and customer-focused service.

Working knowledge of warehouse operations, shipping, and inventory management processes.

Ability to lead and motivate teams while completing required documentation and reporting.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Ability to use inventory and warehouse management systems to track and record materials received and shipped.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with warehouse operations as needed.

Advanced understanding of financial terms and principles.

Ability to calculate percentages, discounts, and commissions.

Capable of performing intermediate to advanced financial analysis.

Strong reasoning skills with the ability to analyze information, interpret documents, and solve operational problems.
