Material Handler

Volt

As an Material Handler you will:

• Receive, store, and distribute materials throughout the facility.
• Accurately put away inventory using part numbers, lot numbers, quantities, and designated storage locations.
• Transport production and non-production materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other material handling equipment.
• Perform weekly cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Execute inventory transactions within warehouse management systems and ERP systems.
• Verify incoming shipments by comparing packing slips, invoices, and freight bills against received materials.
• Inspect packages for damage and report discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain accurate material status records and inventory documentation.
• Support shipping, receiving, warehouse, and production operations.
• Troubleshoot material discrepancies and inventory issues.

This is a Full-Time Contract opportunity.

Schedule:

1st Shift: Monday to Friday :: 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Candidate must be flexible to work in any shift

The Ideal Candidate will have:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• 3-5 years of experience in material handling, warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, or supply chain environments.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP inventory management systems.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Basic computer skills and experience using inventory tracking systems.

Payrate Range in Between - $18 - $20.75/hourly
