About the Role Join Brose as a Material Handler in our logistics team. You will move materials to and from various points in the factory using different forklift types, ensure production is supplied with materials as needed, and support kanban-based material flow. You will also maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the logistics area. What You'll Do
- Move material to and from various points in the factory using counterbalance, reach or EK10 trucks
- Collect empty boxes and consolidate
- Ensure that manufacturing is serviced with all materials as and when required
- Maintain a consistently high level of cleanliness and housekeeping in all logistics areas
- Operate picking buffer and kanban processes (both e-kanban and manual internal kanban)
- Use manual material handling equipment; pump trucks, battery-powered hand trucks
- Use forklift trucks and other material handling devices What We're Looking For
- Experience operating forklift trucks (counterbalance, reach, EK10) and ability to work with different truck types
- Experience with kanban systems (e-kanban and manual)
- Ability to move materials efficiently and ensure timely supply to production
- Experience with manual material handling equipment (pump trucks, battery-powered hand trucks)
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization in logistics areas
- Comfortable working in a factory environment
