About this role
About the Role Material Handler will support Kinze Manufacturing production by efficiently retrieving products and maintaining accurate inventory and storage. This role is based in Williamsburg, IA and operates in an onsite manufacturing environment. What You'll Do
- Loading, unloading, and moving pallets and other materials
- Staging and palletizing product to the production line
- Move product via trailers and backing into tight areas
- Lift product, either on pallets or unpalletized, up to 50 pounds
- Visually inspect product for damage, verify count, and ensure parts match engineering blueprints when painting
- Perform initial forklift checks and report any issues to maintenance
- Safely operate forklift and attachments
- Achieve and maintain lift truck certification
- Input and retrieve data via Mobile to ensure accurate inventory transactions
- Maintain 5S, housekeeping, and safety standards; wear required PPE
- Work independently and in a team; uphold company safety and quality standards What We're Looking For
- Valid driver's license
- Lift truck/forklift certification
- Basic computer skills
- Attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow work instructions and procedures
- Accurate problem identification and solving skills
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment and safety-conscious mindset
- Familiarity with bar code equipment is preferred Nice to Have
- Prior forklift experience
- Familiarity with barcode equipment
- Experience using mobile data entry systems Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $24-$27 per hour
