Your Role and Impact
As a Material Handler, you will help keep materials moving safely and accurately through the facility so teams have the parts and products needed to serve customers. This role supports receiving, storing, packaging, and shipping materials while maintaining high standards for quality, accuracy, and safety. It is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys an active work environment, values organization and attention to detail, and collaborates effectively with others.
Key Responsibilities

Unload incoming shipments and verify materials against bills of lading, packing lists, and purchase orders.

Inspect incoming materials for damage, identify discrepancies, and coordinate with Purchasing and other teams to resolve issues.

Record received materials accurately in the ERP system within required timelines.

Store incoming materials in assigned locations and pull parts as needed to support production and customer orders.

Verify outbound shipments for accuracy and package materials to help prevent damage during transit.

Prepare, file, and archive shipping, receiving, and related documentation.

Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely to move goods throughout the facility, as assigned.

Follow warehouse processes, safety requirements, and housekeeping standards in all work areas.

Required Qualifications
-
-
High school diploma or GED.
-
-
Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds regularly and more than 100 pounds with assistance.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, twist, and perform physical material-handling activities throughout the workday.

Basic computer skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Office and enter information accurately in business systems.

Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

Preferred Qualifications
-
-
Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, or material handling.

Forklift experience and current forklift certification.
-

Experience using an ERP or inventory management system.

Experience reviewing shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and purchase orders.

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, investigate discrepancies, and solve routine shipping and receiving issues.
