Job title: Material Handler
DHL is seeking a Material Handler for its dedicated night shift team in Lethbridge, Alberta. This full-time role supports aircraft parts logistics, including picking, packing, receiving, replenishment, and moving parts using powered equipment in a fast-paced warehouse.
What You'll Do
- Operate powered equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count product
- Perform order picking, packing, or receiving of Engine Kits & Bulk Parts Kits
- Replenish and validate parts used in the aircraft assembly process
- Deliver carts to the engine assembly line and use RF equipment during receiving & picking
- Inspect inbound and outbound products for damage, ensure correct codes, dates, and customer requirements
- Assist in physical inventories
- Put away and pick product for shipment or stock; verify quantities, labels, and addresses match customer orders
- Change equipment batteries or LP tanks; monitor power sources
- Verify and report discrepancies
- Maintain a tidy facility and inspect equipment daily; complete daily equipment inspections
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Forklift certificate or completion of forklift-training program within first 30 days
- Six months warehouse experience (preferred)
- Six months forklift operation experience (preferred)
Nice to Have
- Experience with RF equipment and powered material handling tools
- Prior work in an aerospace/aircraft parts environment (engine kits)
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $22.75/hr
