Job title: Material Handler
About the Role The Material Handler supports Danone's Minster, Ohio production facility by moving materials, loading/unloading trucks, and ensuring on-time production. This role requires operating a stand-up forklift, using a warehouse management system (WMS) and RF scanning, and working nights on a 3-2-2 schedule.
What You'll Do
- Pass forklift certification and operate a stand-up forklift in either Raw Material Warehouse or Distribution Cooler.
- Unload and load trucks; pick product using a warehouse management system and RF scanner.
- Work safely with high attention to detail and quality; collaborate with team to hit production goals in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform computer work related to inventory and order picking; 12-hour shifts; standing most of the shift.
- Wear a free uniform that includes safety shoes, bump cap, safety glasses, ear plugs, hairnet and beard net.
- Work in a cold environment (distribution cooler) and at heights as needed; open schedule including weekends/holidays.
- Prior forklift/warehousing experience is a plus.
What We're Looking For
- High School diploma or GED (required).
- Open schedule ability (weekends and holidays when scheduled).
- Computer skills; strong attention to detail; high mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to perform physical demands: fast-paced environment, 12-hour shifts, continuous standing/walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, working in a cold environment, and at heights.
- Doer who takes ownership of product excellence and their area; proactive about Quality, Safety & Operations.
- Previous forklift and warehousing experience is highly desirable.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base rate: 24.62/hr with night shift premium of 1.00/hr (total potentially up to 25.62/hr).
