About the Role Material Handler (Cylinder Handler) supports safe and efficient cylinder handling and delivery operations in Rice, MN. You will load and unload gas cylinders onto route trucks and trailers, move cylinders by rolling and by operating a forklift, and assist with inventory management and shipment paperwork. What You'll Do
- Load and unload gas cylinders and related products onto and from route trucks and trailers; move cylinders by rolling and by operating a forklift
- Sort empty cylinders by type and check cylinder quantities, styles, and product specifications to support accurate inventory management
- Review customer orders, pull required items from inventory, and load products onto trucks for delivery
- Perform basic cylinder maintenance, including painting, labeling, and cleaning the work area
- Assist with paperwork accompanying shipments
- Complete both routine and non-routine daily and weekly assignments as directed What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- More than one (1+) year experience in a plant or manufacturing environment
- A strong mechanical background is desired
- Good leadership, problem solving, communication, and organizational skills Nice to Have
- Mechanical background or related technical experience Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $21.02 - $30.00 hourly (commensurate with experience)
