Job title: Material Handler - 1st Shift
About the Role The Material Handler at Milwaukee Tool is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and equipment, ensuring correct delivery and shipment of materials to the production line. This role supports manufacturing by moving materials to points of use, maintaining an organized work area, and following safety and 6S practices. This position is on the 1st shift at our Grenada, MS facility.
What You'll Do
- Receive, store, and distribute materials and equipment; ensure correct delivery and shipment of materials.
- Perform work within takt/cycle time and per work instructions.
- Facilitate movement of material to point of use and keep area clean and organized around the assembly line.
- Inform proper personnel of material shortages and check materials in from other cells.
- Operate forklift and adhere to all safety requirements; practice 6S.
- Follow verbal and written instructions, blueprints, and drawings as needed.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent; experience in material handling.
- Basic math skills; ability to understand verbal and written instructions, drawings and blueprints.
- Certified forklift operator.
- Able to follow safety procedures and work in a fast-paced environment.
