Background
To meet future customer demands, we need to accurately predict capacity requirements and investment needs within our production system. Existing and future production equipment must be utilized efficiently to support both current products and the introduction of new technologies.
A reliable capacity analysis tool is essential for guiding investment decisions and supporting technical development. This thesis aims to identify, evaluate, and develop a suitable tool that can support future capacity planning and decision-making.
Thesis Scope
The purpose of this thesis is to investigate and develop a suitable capacity analysis tool for transmission driveline production.
The assignment includes:
- Investigating and benchmarking potential tools and methodologies.
- Assessing and identifying relevant parameter sources.
- Developing and preparing the selected tool.
- Validating the tool against existing solutions.
- Documenting findings and presenting results to stakeholders.
Who Are You?
We are looking for students pursuing a degree in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Logistics Engineering
- Systems Engineering
- Industrial Economics
You are analytical, structured, and interested in combining engineering, data analysis, and production development. Experience in manufacturing, operations, or capacity planning is considered an advantage.
