About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Master Data Steward for Central MDG. This role will be based in 6750 Building, Makati City, Philippines.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of Chevron's finance master data (general ledger, profit center, cost center, joint venture and business partner) in SAP MDG and S4/HANA.
• Defining, documenting, and implementing data standards, supporting overall management of the data governance processes, and analyzing data to identify trends and issues.
• Level 1 steward of the established master data governance process, responsible for gatekeeping and enforcing the master data standards following the Common Information Model (CIM) design.
• Maintain accurately the finance master data CRUD (create, retain, update, delete/block) process in SAP MDG and S/4 HANA.
• Gatekeep and enforce the master data standards following the CIM and Master Data Governance processes.
• Monitor data quality and implement process improvement as necessary.
• Create and maintain master data controls, procedures, and policies. Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX.
• Contribute to developing the business rules that govern master data.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborate with IT Teams on data management processes and initiatives.
• Train end users on data management processes and systems.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical, teamwork and customer engagement skills
• Must have the propensity to work in a proactive, results-oriented, and customer-focused environment
• Enjoys working with people of diverse cultural backgrounds

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in SAP/SMART by GEP/Maximo is an advantage but not required.
• Strong Accounts Payable background is preferred.
• Experience in leveraging technologies and applying digital tools to enhance business processes
