About the Role

We are seeking a skilled, professional, and client-focused Massage Therapist to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality massage and wellness treatments while ensuring clients receive a relaxing, professional, and personalized experience. We are looking for someone who is passionate about wellness, understands different massage techniques, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional massage treatments based on clients' individual needs and preferences.
• Conduct brief consultations with clients to understand their expectations, areas of discomfort, and preferred treatment.
• Perform different massage techniques safely and professionally.
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure they are clean, comfortable, hygienic, and properly equipped.
• Maintain professional standards of hygiene and sanitation before, during, and after treatments.
• Ensure clients are comfortable and appropriately positioned throughout their treatment.
• Explain treatment procedures and provide appropriate aftercare recommendations.
• Maintain accurate client treatment records where required.
• Monitor clients' feedback and provide a high-quality customer experience.
• Recommend suitable wellness treatments based on clients' needs, within the scope of the therapist's training.
• Maintain proper care and handling of massage equipment, oils, towels, and other treatment materials.
• Ensure treatment areas are adequately stocked and report shortages when necessary.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the spa and beauty team.
• Maintain strict client confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times.
• Support the team in maintaining the overall standards and reputation of the establishment.
• Perform other reasonable duties related to the role as assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Certificate or relevant training in Massage Therapy, Spa Therapy, Wellness, Beauty Therapy, or a related field.

• Previous experience working as a Massage Therapist in a spa, wellness centre, hotel, beauty clinic, or similar environment.

• Good knowledge of different massage techniques and their appropriate applications.

• Strong understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and professional treatment standards.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Pleasant, warm, and professional personality.

• Strong customer-service orientation.

• Good attention to detail.

• Ability to maintain client confidentiality and professional boundaries.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Professional appearance and excellent personal hygiene.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, where required.

• Preferred Skills Experience with some of the following will be an advantage:

• Swedish massage

• Deep tissue massage

• Relaxation massage

• Aromatherapy massage

• Sports massage

• Hot stone massage

• Body treatments

• Spa and wellness services.

Salary

N100,000 - N120,000 monthly.
