We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Mason

Location: Ijebu-North, Ogun

Employment Type: Full-time on-site

Working Days: Monday - Saturday

Working Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Summary

• We are seeking skilled and experienced Masons to join its team at Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.
• The successful candidates will be responsible for building, repairing and maintaining structures across the farm, poultry pens, stores, offices and processing facilities.

Key Responsibilties

• Mix mortar and concrete, and lay blocks and bricks accurately to approved measurements.
• Build, repair and renovate poultry pens, stores, fences, walls, floors and other farm structures.
• Carry out plastering, rendering, screeding, tiling and floor finishing.
• Construct and repair drainage channels, soakaways, culverts, footbaths and concrete bases for equipment.
• Carry out concrete works, including foundations, columns, beams and slabs, under the supervision of the Facility Manager.
• Read and follow simple drawings, measurements and work instructions.
• Maintain and repair damaged walls, floors and surfaces across all sites.
• Estimate and request building materials, and use them without waste.
• Keep tools and equipment in good condition and store them properly.
• Follow site safety rules and use protective equipment.
• Work with carpenters, welders, plumbers and other artisans on site.
• Report completed work, damage, and materials needed to the Facility Manager.

Requirements and Qualifications

• SSCE or OND, with a trade certificate in bricklaying and block-laying as an added advantage.
• 2-5 years of experience as a mason or bricklayer.
• Skill in block-laying, plastering, concreting, and floor finishing.
• Ability to read basic drawings and take accurate measurements.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors and lift heavy materials.
• Honest, hardworking and able to work with little supervision.
• Willingness to work on a farm and in poultry pen environments.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety rules.
• Experience on farm, factory or industrial building projects is an added advantage.
• Candidates must be of good character and may be asked for a guarantor.

Salary

N200,000 - N300,000 gross monthly.
