About the Role Volt is hiring a Masker in Ontario, CA. In this role, you will manually apply and remove precision masking materials to protect product surfaces from coating, clean, inspect, and prepare part surfaces before masking, and follow MSPs and cleanroom/ESD protocols. What You'll Do
- Manually apply and remove precision masking materials to protect specific product surfaces from coating
- Clean, inspect, and prepare part surfaces before masking
- Carefully inspect your own work to ensure compliance with manufacturing specifications
- Disassemble, clean, and refurbish coating fixtures as required
- Follow strict MSPs and work instructions, often adhering to cleanroom and ESD protocols
- Work full-time, 5 days a week, 8+ hours per day What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- 1+ years manufacturing experience (preferred)
- Ability to operate precision measuring instruments and record results
- Ability to work in a clean room environment with PPE and hygiene standards
- Able to dispose, package, label, ship or inspect hazardous materials or waste per regulatory requirements
- Must clearly speak, read, and write English
- English proficiency required
- May assist in other areas or perform other duties as needed by fluctuating business needs Nice to Have
- Experience with microscopes, scalpel blades & cutters, soldering, hand & power tools Compensation & Benefits
- Pay rate: $20.25 per hour (USD)
