Job title: Mask Generation Support for VCSEL GaAs Semiconductor Manufacturing Processes
About the Role Western Digital seeks a specialist to support mask generation for VCSEL GaAs semiconductor manufacturing processes. You will create, maintain, and update technical documentation for mask layouts and related design rules, and contribute to mask job files for lithography processes including EPI, Mesa, and Grating structures. You will also perform Design Rule Checks (DRC) and layer and layout verifications to ensure fabrication readiness.
What You'll Do
- Support mask generation for VCSEL GaAs semiconductor manufacturing processes.
- Create, maintain, and update technical documentation for mask layouts and associated design rules.
- Assist in creating mask job files for lithography processes including EPI, Mesa, and Grating structures.
- Perform Design Rule Checks (DRC) as well as layer and layout verifications.
What We're Looking For
- Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and mask generation.
- Experience with lithography mask files and job file creation.
- Familiarity with Design Rule Checks (DRC) and layout verification.
- Ability to document technical processes and maintain design rules documentation.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams.
