About the Role The Maryland Access Point (MAP) Specialist supports the Department of Aging by providing information, referrals, and assistance to older adults, individuals with disabilities, family members, and professionals. The role involves data entry for reporting in the WellSky database and coordinating consumer intakes and referrals within the MAP Office. What You'll Do
- Provides information, referrals, and assistance to older adults, individuals with disabilities, family members, and professionals.
- Enters consumer and statistical information for reports into the WellSky database.
- Completes consumer intakes for various Department of Aging programs and forwards referrals.
- Responds to inquiries about the Long-Term Care programs. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's in social or behavioral science (or equivalent experience)
- Knowledge of aging and disability services
- Information/referral skills, database and assessment experience
- CPR/First Aid training required (county)
- Experience with WellSky and Microsoft Word (technical tools mentioned) Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $48,000-$56,000 per year
- Location: Onsite in Baltimore County, Maryland
- Schedule: 35 hours per week (regular)
