About this role
Job title: Marketing Leader
About the Role Moment is hiring a Marketing Leader to set the strategy for how Moment engages large institutional buyers and to design, ship, and own the work that gets us there. This isn't just execution— you'll own positioning, messaging, brand, and the go-to-market across segments and channels. You'll work directly with the Founders to set the function's playbook.
What You'll Do
- Strategy: Own positioning across customer segments: from broker-dealers, RIAs, global banks, fintechs to messaging frameworks; lead persona research and competitive reads to inform campaigns.
- Design & Brand: Own how Moment looks and sounds; sharpen visual identity across site, decks, social, and product surfaces; collaborate with design teams and maintain a high bar for all external output.
- Content & Demand: Translate technical capabilities into narratives for traders, advisors, compliance, and other ICPs; ship campaigns, case studies, launch materials, and exec content to drive pipeline over time.
- Field & Events: Set strategy for industry events (e.g., Fixed Income Leadership Summit, Tiburon, FIA, SIFMA) and run client dinners, salon roundtables, and product launches in NYC and other key cities.
What We're Looking For
- A strategist who also ships. Has built positioning and brand frameworks at a B2B company, plus written copy, briefed designers, and shipped campaigns.
- Strong on taste. Knows what good content, design, and storytelling look like; maintains a high bar for all outputs under the company name.
- Capable in a market with technical buyers. You don’t need to know fixed income, but you should be willing to learn it deeply and represent it accurately.
- Operating with founder-level ownership. You drive your function, propose budget, set strategy, and ship.
- Even better if you have 4–8 years in marketing with exposure to product marketing or startup GTM, plus a background in financial services, capital markets, or B2B fintech infrastructure. A portfolio of personally shipped work (positioning, copy, brand systems, campaigns) is a must.
Nice to Have
- 4–8 years in marketing with exposure to product marketing or startup GTM work (if not already listed)
- Background in financial services, capital markets, or B2B fintech infrastructure
- A portfolio of work you’ve personally shipped (not just managed)
