Job description

The Australasian Housing Institute (AHI) is the professional body for the social and affordable housing sector across Australia and New Zealand. We're seeking a remote based Marketing & Events Specialist for a 12 month contract to lead our marketing, communications and events program and help grow our profile, membership and sector impact.

About the role

This is a varied and hands-on role responsible for:

• Developing and delivering AHI's marketing and communications strategy
• Creating content for newsletters, email campaigns, website and social media
• Managing digital marketing campaigns for membership, training and events
• Coordinating AHI's events calendar across Australia and New Zealand
• Leading delivery of the prestigious Brighter Future Awards, including regional events and the Australasian Gala.

About you

You'll bring:

• At least 5 years experience in marketing, communications and content creation
• Strong writing and editing skills across multiple channels
• Digital marketing experience, including websites, email marketing and social media
• Excellent organisational skills and proven event management experience
• A collaborative approach and confidence working with a wide range of stakeholders
• Experience in a membership organisation or not-for-profit environment will be highly regarded as is the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
